Need Basement Apartment For My And My Mother

I am a Freshman in Stony Brook University. I live with my Mother. We are both permanent residents in USA. We are from Lahore, Pakistan. I need to leave our current place by the end of June 2026. I am looking for a nice 1 bedroom or 2 room basement apartment in nice family neighborhood. I don't want anything fancy but a quiet place where my mother and I cook live on a long term base peacefully and safely. I study and work on the weekend in Walmart currently to take care of myself and my mother. My father is not alive. I have scholarship that supports my studies along with my odd job. We are very nice and quiet people and promise to take care of the apartment you will offer. My budget is not much, merely $1300 (negotiable).
