1) How can I edit or update my ad details?

Log in to your Sulekha account, go to your Profile, and click on “My Dashboard.”

From the dashboard, you can edit your ad from the “Overview or “My Listings section.

Click the edit button and select the ad you want to update.

You can update the following details:

  • Ad Information: title and description
  • Property details: Rent, Deposit, Availability, Stay type, Bath type, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Square feet, Days available, and Open house schedule
  • Amenities/Utilities
  • Neighborhoods
  • Apartment Details
  • Roommate/Tenant Preference: Age, Gender, Occupation
  • House Rules: Smoking and Pets policy, Alcohol habits, Food preferences, Furnishings, Couples

2) Can I change the “Category/Location” of my ad?

No, once an ad is posted, the category and location cannot be changed directly by you.

If you selected the wrong category (for example, “Shared Room” instead of “Apartment”) or the wrong location (for example, “New Jersey” instead of “New York”), you can write to us at us.sulekha@sulekha.com or call our customer support at +1-512-788-5300 / +1-512-231-9226 and raise a request.

Our team will update the category or location on your behalf.

3) How do I "Disable/Enable" my ad?

To disable your ad (pause visibility), log in to Sulekha dashboard, go to the “My Listings” or “Overview” section, select the ad you want to disable, and click on Disable.

To enable your ad again, follow the same steps and click Enable.

Note: You can disable/enable your ad only during the active campaign period (between the “ad start date and end date”).
